PRE-CLOSING HOMEBUYER EDUCATION

Was I qualified for a CHFA loan?
I have a CHFA loan; now what?

We offer a pre-closing education course free of charge to CHFA loan applicants.  The pre-closing class provides an overview on a range of financial and practical topics that a homebuyer should understand before completing the homeownership process.

Applicants must have a loan reservation number from their CHFA-approved participating lender to register for the class.

 

With NEST Pre-Closing Homebuyer Education, you will be ready to purchase your first home. NEST help’s you:

  • Learn about the CHFA recapture tax

  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of owning a home?

  • Learn about life as a homeowner

  • Review the mortgage process

  • Understand what to do before and after the closing
