HOUSING EDUCATION AND COUNSELING

Building wealth starts at home…and finding a home that fits your income can be more achievable than you think. NEST will help you set goals, make a personal plan, and turn it into reality through our Homeownership Education and Loss Prevention Program (HELPP).

One of our experienced counselors is ready to coach you today to learn how our programs can help you buy a new home, rent one that fits your budget, or avoid foreclosure or eviction. The Homeownership Education and Loss Prevention Program consists of free monthly workshops and one-on-one counseling with a bilingual counselor. Our free workshops are open to everyone.

Our office is handicapped-accessible. Please call ahead so that we may accommodate your needs. All workshops will be held virtually, via Zoom video conferencing.

YOUTH FINANCIAL LITERACY EDUCATION

While our programming is designed for residents ages 18+, we provide financial literacy education for youth upon request and availability. We have worked with local youth groups like Ai3 Leadership Academy to develop knowledge, skills, and habits as a stepping stone to a young person’s path to adult financial well-being. Contact Maybeth Morales-Davis to learn more about partnering with NEST to uplift your youth.

Meet The Team

After each workshop, our HUD-certified counselors will arrange one-on-one counseling with each attendee. Together, you’ll set goals and talk about the best ways to achieve them!
