GROWING COMMUNITY
By reimaging urban landscapes, we are creating a way for urban food production to sustain us, to build community through local food systems, and innovate for a sustainable future.
We Have A History
Established in 2019 by NEST’s Resident Leadership Program cohort graduates to address the limited access to affordable and nutritious food, the Love & Care Community Garden is an active and thriving urban oasis within the Waterbury Crownbrook neighborhood. All of the food that is grown in our garden is given to families in the community.
