Yarixa Lopez

Yarixa Lopez is a community leader and advocate dedicated to strengthening the Greater Waterbury area through service, collaboration, and shared leadership. She serves her community as Secretary of the Waterbury Board of Education and participates on several local boards and committees including Hispanic Coalition of Greater Waterbury and United Way of Greater Waterbury.

 

As the Community and Stakeholder Engagement Manager at Waterbury Hospital, her work aligns with her passion for advancing health equity, education, housing, and access to basic needs for all community members.

 

Yarixa believes effective leadership starts with listening, learning, and taking thoughtful action to help others.
