ADAMS STREET DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

NEST presents Adams Street, an incomparable new development offering homeowners a two-family, environmentally conscious, architecturally designed home of a modern aesthetic, utilizing renewable energy systems that will minimize the maintenance and annual utility cost tremendously. Situated between Grove St. and Hawkins St., Adams St. is a full block redevelopment imagined by NEST and masterfully executed by the award-winning Waterbury based firm Studio Q Architecture.

Each home is unique, and the owner’s unit range from 600 sq. ft. to 1,340 sq. ft. Forward-looking, yet contextual in mass and rhythm, the design theme carries through to the interior. Airy and bright, each home is a study in modern elegance. Hardwood floors provide a warm palette for any design style. Kitchens are polished yet practical, adorned with granite countertops, sleek fixtures, wooden cabinetry, and stainless-steel appliances. Bathrooms come with tiled floors and Kohler toilet(s) and fixtures. All residences have washer/dryer hookups.

DESIGN CONCEPT

The redevelopment of Adams Street was an iterative design process involving the residents and stakeholders of the Crownbrook neighborhood, NEST, and a multi-disciplined local and national design team. Through a series of individual meetings, neighborhood workshops, and larger design meetings, the first phase of the Crownbrook neighborhood redevelopment plan – Adams Street – was forged.
