My Story
When did you join NEST?
July 2024
Why did you decide to join NEST?
NEST has been an organization that I have admired and appreciated over the years as a community organizer. I believe NEST's presence in our communities is beneficial for inclusivity, upward mobility, and good faith.
What is it about NEST that keeps you engaged with the work/mission?
My best memory and favorite quality of NEST in their commitment to community and their support of smaller organizations' initiatives. The organization is a staple in Waterbury and beyond, so I knew I had to jump at the opportunity to join when I could.
Looking forward, what are your greatest hopes for the future of NEST?
What I look forward to the most here at NEST is being able to give more of my time and energy to my hometown, professional development that I can learn from my seniors, and building with familiar and new faces in the community.
What are 3 things you enjoy doing in your spare time?
In my spare time my favorite things to do are watch movies, outings like wine and whiskey tasting, and spending time with friends and family. I also like to travel when I can afford it!
